JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 22-02-2018 In view of the prayer made in writ application and the fact that earlier vide order dated 22nd of November of 2017 six weeks time was granted to the respondents to file counter affidavit, the petitioner is directed to file an exhaustive representation before the Registrar, B.N. Mandal University along with a copy of this order within one month from today.

In case such a representation is filed by the petitioner before the Registrar, B.N. Mandal University within the time frame as indicated hereinabove, the Registrar is under obligation to examine

Patna High Court CWJC No.16190 of 2017 dt.22-02-2018 2/2 the case of the petitioner and if similarly circumstanced others have been granted the benefit of 5th and 6th pay revision, in UGC pay scale, appropriate order with regard to payment of arrears of difference of salary be passed by the respondents within two months from today and consequential monetary benefits must be extended and reach to the petitioner within a further period of two months from the date of decision of the Registrar. This direction is issued in view of the fact that the University is the custodian of the relevant record and they have to verify the records before deciding the claim of the petitioner.
