JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-09-2019 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- (i) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ / writs, order /orders, direction/directions commanding the respondents to fix the pension of the petitioner in revised pay of Rs. 19130/- in the scale of Rs. 9300-34800/- (Grade pay 4800/-) w.e.f. 01.01.2006 and make payment of all

Patna High Court CWJC No.19213 of 2019(2) dt.23-09-2019 2/3 consequential benefits i.e. arrears of differences of pension, Gratuity, Group Insurance amount (with 12% interest) & Arrears of difference of salary of Rs. 40,19,082/- [Forty Lac Nineteen Thousand Eight Two Rupees] (upto 2017-18) which is admitted by the University with 18% penal interest per annum and also to pay the exemplary cost due to latches and harassing attitude of the Respondents.

(ii) For issuance of any other appropriate order / orders, direction / directions as your Lordship may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case, the petitioner is given liberty to file a representation regarding his grievances mentioned in the writ petition and the concerned authority is directed to dispose of the same within a specified time frame. Accordingly, the petitioner is granted liberty to file a representation within a period of six weeks from today before the Respondent No. 3 and the Respondent No. 3 is directed to dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks thereafter,
