The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Imamganj P.S. Case No.166 of 2018 registered under Sections 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Considering the gravity of the offence and the fact that the name of the petitioner transpired in course of investigation and the police may require his custodial interrogation, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
