2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with G.R. Case No. 32 of 2023 arising out of Laukahi P.S. Case No. 102 of 2023 dated 16.04.2023, lodged under Sections 20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, 1985.

3. As per the prosecution case, 156 kg Ganja has been recovered from the house of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He submits that the petitioner is in custody since 26.06.2023 having clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that a huge quantity of Ganja has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

6. Considering the huge recovery of Ganja from the possession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.

7. The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial as early as possible.
