It has been stated in the writ application that based on a selection held for the post of Anganwari Sevika of Centre No. 139 in Ward No. 70, Patna City in the district of Patna, the petitioner was selected on 07.08.2015 itself. It is her grievance that till date no appointment letter has been issued in her favour despite the fact that she had been approaching the authorities continuously.

I do not find any explanation in the writ application

Patna High Court CWJC No.19914 of 2019(2) dt.13-11-2019 2/2 for approaching this Court more than four years after the petitioner was said to have been selected. However, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ application is disposed of with a direction that let the CDPO, Patna City take a decision on the petitioner's grievance, as has been noted above, within a period of one month from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order. In case, CDPO is of the view that the petitioner is not to be engaged for any reason, she will have to pass a reasoned order in this regard. (Chakradhari Sharan Singh, J) Rajesh/- U
