JUSTICE NANI TAGIA ORAL ORDER 16-04-2025 This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 21.08.2018 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 2587 of 2018, by which order the District Magistrate, Patna was directed to take a final decision on the application of the petitioner, keeping in view the provisions under Rule 25 of the Arms Rules, 2016 within a period of six weeks of the receipt of

2. Opposite Party Nos. 2 to 4 have filed the show cause, wherein, in paragraph 13 thereof it has been stated that the District Magistrate, Patna after considering the application of the petitioner has rejected it vide Memo No. 2385 dated 01.09.2022 for transfer of the N.P. Bore Pistol No. 118093 having arms license No. 226/2004 issued to the father of the petitioner.

3. In view of the above, I find that the opposite parties have complied with the order dated 21.08.2018 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 2587 of 2018.

4. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed and disposed of.
