The present writ application has been filed for a direction to the respondent authorities for providing a certified copy of the entire records of Deficit Stamp Case Nos.03/86-87 and 32/88-89 to the petitioner.
From the material available on record it does not appear that a proper requisition was filed for issuance of certified copy of any particular record or records in the aforementioned deficit stamp cases. Moreover, the authority under the Stamp Act has not been made party respondent in the present proceeding.
In the circumstances, the petitioner is permitted to
Patna High Court CWJC No.12831 of 2016(2) dt.20-11-2018 2/2 file appropriate requisition, if so advised, for issuance of certified copy of the records of the aforementioned Deficit Stamp Cases before the appropriate authority within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, whereupon, it is expected from the authority concerned to decide the issue of supply of required records in the aforementioned Deficit Stamp Cases within a period of four weeks, calculated from the date of submission of the requisition, in accordance with law.
Accordingly, with the observation aforementioned, the writ application stands disposed of.
