2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 80, [304 (B) [I.P.C.], 238 [201 I.P.C.] of BNS 2023.

The case of the prosecution is that the daughter of the informant namely, Putal Kumari was married to one Ritesh Kumar on 20.04.2024 On 07.04.2025, the dead body of the deceased was brought to Gulabi Ghat for cremation. On the basis of secret information, the informant reached there and stopped the cremation, It is further alleged that after the marriage, the deceased was subjected to cruelty on account of non-fulfillment of dowry demands. Accordingly, the present FIR has been instituted.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67468 of 2025(2) dt.17-09-2025 2/2 petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in connection with the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is a sister-in-law of the deceased and the main thrust of allegation is against the husband of the deceased. It is further submitted that the deceased was suffering from illness and was under treatment but despite medical efforts, she could not survive. On perusal of the post-mortem report, it transpires that the cause of death is due to consumption of poison. Moreover, the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 01.08.2025 having no criminal antecedent.

5. Learned APP appearing for the state has opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Alamganj P.S. Case No. 375 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-VIth, Patna.
