JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 07-02-2018 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in Mahua PS Case No. 14 of 2016 registered under Sections 302/34 and 201 of the IPC. The allegation in brief is that after death of mother of the deceased she was living with her maternal-uncle, only a few days back she was brought by her father who had married with the petitioner, who is her step mother, and thereafter she was killed and dead body was buried. Later, on getting information, the dead body was taken out and post mortem was held.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is step mother of the deceased and she is not involved in the occurrence. She is in custody since 7.9.2017 and has clean antecedent.

Learned Counsel for the State submits that the girl was brought to the petitioner's house by her husband and she was murdered and the dead body was buried by river side. Later, post mortem was held and the cause of death was strangulation. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and preferably conclude the same within a period of two years. Snkumar/- (Arun Kumar, J.) U T
