Public Prosecutor and Sri Manoj Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the informant.

The petitioner, who is in custody since 19.07.2016 in Katihar Sahayak P.S. Case No.475 of 2016 registered for the offence under Sections 20, 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, has prayed for grant of bail.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. It has also been argued that recovered Ganja is total weighing 2.300 Kg, which is lesser than the commercial quantity. He further submits that the petitioner is having clean antecedent.

Public Prosecutor and learned counsel for the informant have opposed the prayer for bail. However, keeping in view the clean antecedent of the petitioner as well as quantity of recovered Ganja, let the petitioner, namely, Neeraj Jha @ Dhiraj Kumar Jha, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-( ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge ( Special Judge), Katihar in connection with Katihar Sahayak P.S. Case No.475/2016.
