The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No.476 of 2024 registered for the offence under sections 80, 61(2) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. He along with others are said to have killed the daughter of the informant.

The petitioner is in custody since 13.08.2024.

From the postmortem report, it appears that large number of injuries have been found on the body of the deceased.

Considering the aforesaid, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected.

It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the observations made by this Court is only for the purpose of deciding this bail application.
