2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Daudpur P.S. Case No. 12 of 2024 dated 12.01.2024 registered for the offences punishable u/ss 395 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, eight unknown miscreants boarded on three motorcycles came and overtook the motorcycle of the informant and snatched away the bag and the motorcycle of the informant. They also assaulted the informant with knife which hit in his right side.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the motorcycle was handed over to the petitioner by the co-accused, Sandeep Kumar and the petitioner had no knowledge about the same and he has been roped in this case by the co-accused, Sandeep Kumar to take vengeance. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. No T.I.P. has been conducted by the prosecution. The petitioner has four criminal antecedents as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 12.02.2024. The co-accused has been granted regular bail by this Court vide order dated 01.07.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 43085 of 2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner and submitted that the motorcycles were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Saran at Chapra in connection with Daudpur P.S.
