Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.
Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 422 of 2022 (N.D.P.S. Case No. 153 of 2022) registered for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of Arms Act and Section 8(c) and 21(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act.
As per the prosecution, during the course of patrolling, the informant along with some other police personnel got information about some mobile snatchers and in the

No.63876 of 2022(2) dt.25-02-2023 2/3 meantime two motorcycle riders started to flee away on seeing the police party but on chasing, the petitioner along with three other miscreants were apprehended and from their possession one country-made pistol, 20 grams smack, two live cartridges and one motorcycle were recovered.
The main submissions advanced by learned counsel Mr. Manoj Kumar appearing for the petitioner are that the investigation has been completed against the petitioner and he has been languishing in jail since 27.06.2022 and two coaccused persons who were also apprehended with this petitioner have been granted bail by the Court below itself and only one country-made pistol is stated to have been recovered from the possession of this petitioner and against him there is criminal antecedent of one case, in which he is on bail. Learned APP Mr. Amit Kumar Rakesh appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer.
Considering the above submissions and mainly the custody period of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to accept the petitioner's prayer for bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned in connection
