It is specific assertion of the respondents in the counter affidavit that Appeal No.02 of 2013-14, filed against the confiscation proceeding by the petitioner, shall be heard and finally dispose of within 31st August, 2018.

In view of specific assertion of the respondents, this Court does not consider it appropriate to kept the writ petition pending. The undertaking given in the counter affidavit may visit the deponent with contempt in case of violation of the same.
