JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL ORDER 18-06-2015 Petitioner has brought on record the communications made by the Vice-Chancellor of Bihar Agriculture University, Sabour, contained in Annexure-4 and 5, making a request for extending the last date for receiving applications from the candidates for appointment as Agriculture Coordinators. The reason for such a request is evident from reading of the two annexures. The request and the prayer made therein to the Agriculture Production Commissioner as well as the Chairman, Bihar Staff Selection Commission are reasonable prayers and require consideration.
It is not that the date initially fixed in the advertisement as
Patna High Court CWJC No.8333 of 2015 (2) dt.18-06-2015 2 / 2 the final date for filing applications online is a rigid date because the last date which was initially fixed in terms of Annexure-1 was extended till 14th of June, 2015.
The Court, therefore, directs the Chairman of Bihar Staff Selection Commission as well as the Agriculture Production Commissioner, Government of Bihar, to sit together, consider the request of the Vice-Chancellor of the University and take a decision within ten days from today.
The cut off date which was fixed as 14th June, 2015 will not come in the way if a decision is taken in favour of the students who are going to pass out by 10th of July, 2015 from the University.
Writ application is disposed of in terms of the above. (Ajay Kumar Tripathi, J) R.K.Pathak/- U
