The present application has been filed for initiating a proceeding of contempt against opposite parties for deliberate violation of the order dated 08.11.2017, passed in CWJC No. 12399 of 2017, whereby, the District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram was directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner, in accordance with the provisions of the Arms Act, 1959, preferably within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the order, keeping in view the direction of the Principal Secretary, Home(Police) Department, Govt. of Bihar.

Patna High Court MJC No.2823 of 2018(3) dt.09-01-2019 2/2 Today, i.e. 09.01.2019, a supplementary show cause has been filed on behalf of Opposite Party Nos. 3 and 4 bringing on record the order dated 23.10.2018, passed by the District Magistrate, Rohtas Sasaram, in Arms Case No.16 of 2018, as contained in Annexure-B to the supplementary show cause, whereby, the application of the petitioner for grant of licence of N.P. Bore Rifle has been disposed of. Since the order of this Court has substantially be complied vide the order contained in Annexure-B to the supplementary show cause and the same is amenable to challenge in appropriate appeal, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present contempt application. Accordingly, the application is disposed of.
