This is an application for bail in connection with Jagdispur (Ara) P.S.Case No. 247 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 116, 171E, 353, 418, 500 of the Indian Penal Code and 12 of Prevention of Corruption Act. Allegation against the petitioners is that they have tried to bribe the informant BDO by offering of Rs.2,000/-. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is that the allegation is false and concocted and moreover they are is in custody for about three months.

Having heard both sides and considering the facts and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55831 of 2017 (2) dt.20-11-2017 2/2 circumstances of the case, let petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Vigilance 1st , Patna, in connection with Special Case No. 235 of 2017, arising out of Jagdispur P.S.Case No. 247 of 2017, subject to the following conditions :- (1) One of the bailors shall be a local person having sufficient immoveable properties within the jurisdiction of court concerned, (2) Petitioners will co-operate in trial and appear on each and every date in court, failing which their bail bonds shall be cancelled.
