1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 323, 452, 379, 380, 376/511 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner along with other co-accused persons attempted to commit rape on the complainant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that matter has been compromised between the parties.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66302 of 2023(2) dt.18-10-2023 2/2 Compromise petition has been filed before the learned Court of Sessions Judge, Madhubani on 28.04.2023.

5. However, learned counsel for the complainant vehemently opposed the prayer of bail and has submitted that there is specific and direct allegation against this petitioner for attempting to commit rape on the complainant and offence is not compoundable.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
