2. Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, submits that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is given to the appellate authority that his pending appeal against the order of punishment dated 09.09.2014 is disposed of within a fixed time frame.
3. Mr. Prabhakar Tekriwal, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Food Corporation of India, on the other hand, has explained that since a detailed representation of the petitioner by way of appeal against the order of punishment has been filed only
Patna High Court CWJC No.13047 of 2015 (2) dt.21-08-2015 2/2 on 02.06.2015 and, therefore, the petitioner should have at least some more patience in getting his appeal disposed of.
4. In the considered opinion of this Court, if the appeal of the petitioner is statutory appeal against the order of punishment, the same must be disposed of expeditiously and/or preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
