2 In respect of the petitioner's regular appointment by way of absorption as Assistant Engineers, the stand of the respondentState in the counter affidavit filed today is as follows: "Once the matter of aforesaid Ad hoc Assistant Engineers is decided, decision regarding regular appointment of the petitioner and 7 other similar Ad hoc Assistant Engineers on absorption basis will be taken through the same file."

3 Since the said claim of the petitioner has been made with reference to the appointment by way of absorption made in respect of others under notification dated 28.03.2012 bearing No 3535

Patna High Court CWJC No.15738 of 2015 dt.14-05-2018 2/2 (S), this Court would only observe that six years have passed since the decision has been taken in respect of others, therefore, the respondentState authorities would be obliged to bring the consideration to its logical end in view of their stand taken in the counter affidavit within a specified time frame, preferably within three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. 4 The writ petition is disposed of.
