The petitioner is in custody in connection with Mednichowki P.S. Case No.24 of 2017, a case under Sections 376, 504, 506, 323/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of POCSO Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is of sexual exploitation of informant on the pretext of marriage. The informant is a student of Intermediate Class. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is in custody since 06.07.2017. Considering the nature of allegation, specially, the fact that the informant was consenting party and period already

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58335 of 2017 (4) dt.06-02-2018 2/2 undergone by the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with the aforesaid case, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
