The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bikramganj P.S. Case No. 72 of 2017 dated 19.03.2017 instituted for the offence under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R and has been remanded in this case from Kudra P.S. Case No. 54 of 2017 in which he was arrested and had made confession. The petitioner is in custody since 24.07.2017. Apart from the present case and the case in which he was earlier made accused, there is no other case against him.

Considering the nature of accusation against the petitioner and the period of custody, this Court is inclined to grant

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56786 of 2017 (2) dt.01-12-2017 2/2 bail to the petitioner.

The petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bikramganj in connection with Bikramganj P.S.
