ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 03-02-2016 The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment of conviction dated 17.06.2015 passed by the Additional District & Sessions Judge-IV, Nawada in Criminal Appeal No. 08 of 2014, by which he has affirmed the judgment dated 19.02.2014 passed by the Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Nawada in G.R. Case No. 696 of 1999/Tr. No. 368 of 2013 arising out of Warsaliganj P.S. Case No. 34 of 1999, by which he has convicted the Petitioner under Sections 25(1-B) and 26 of the Arms Act and sentenced him to undergo R.I. for two and half years and a fine of Rs. 5,000/- and three years and a fine of Rs. 3,000/- respectively.

Having gone through the impugned judgment of conviction, I do not find any perversity in the same. However, considering the period of custody and the

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.789 of 2015 dt.03-02-2016 date of occurrence, the sentence is reduced to the period already undergone by the Petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, the application stands dismissed.
