2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 137 ( 2 ), 96, 352 and 3

(5) of BNS.

3 . As per F.I.R. petitioner is alleged to have kidnapped the minor daughter of informant.

4. The victim in her statement recorded under Section 183 of BNSS has supported the prosecution case and stated that it was this petitioner who kidnapped her.

5 . Considering the statement of the victim recorded under Section 183 BNSS, seriousness and nature of accusation , gravity of offence and other circumstances of the case , the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66165 of 2025(3) dt.05-12-2025 2/2 prayer of petitioner for regular bail is rejected. However, since petitioner is in custody since 30.06.2025 , learned Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial, within the period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
