Petitioner is languishing in custody since 20.08.2016 in connection with Mirganj P.S. Case No. 233 of 2016 for offences punishable under Sections 272, 273, 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(A)/47(G) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

Country made liquor as well as foreign liquor was recovered from the motorcycle of this petitioner on 19.08.2016 in between Bhawani Chapar and Ekdanga.

Submission is that the petitioner is resident of Uttar Pradesh and he was going to meet his relative for marketing purpose. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent.
