Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Agamkuan P. S. Case No. 532 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 182, 201, 229(a), 409, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution, the informant alleged that one person namely, Prem Sahani obtained Provisional Bail on the ground of death of his father but later on, the death of his father was found to be false.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegation against the petitioner is only to have become bailor of the co-accused Prem Sahani in connection with his

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63958 of 2022(2) dt.25-02-2023 2/2 provisional regular bail granted by this court vide order passed in Cr. Misc. No. 42681 of 2018 and the alleged offences are triable by 1st Class Magistrate and the investigation has been completed against the petitioner and he has fair and clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer.

In view of the facts, as stated above, in the opinion of this Court a lenient approach can be taken in respect of the petitioner's prayer. Accordingly, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court in connection with Agamkuan P.S. Case No. 532 of 2018.
