2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 3137 of 2019 in a case registered for the offences under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, this petitioner, who is husband of the complainant, committed torture and harassment with her due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner never demanded any dowry nor he committed torture upon the complainant. In fact, petitioner has filed a Divorce Case No. 1958 of 2019 in Family Court, Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69114 of 2024(2) dt.19-12-2024 2/2 Petitioner is in custody since 11.06.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and period of custody, the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Complaint Case No. 3137 of 2019.
