The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case no. 273 of 2017, registered under Sections 406, 420 and 387/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is that informant Asha Devi used to visit the Majar situated at Bank Road, Patna where she met with Amjad Ali @ Munna, who is Molvil of the Majar. At that place, one Rita Devi (petitioner) also used to visit there and in course of talk, Amjad Ali introduced her with Rita Srivastav saying that she is doing job in Tourism Department, Govt. of Bihar and she will manage to arrange job for her two sons. Thereafter, informant gave Rs. 5,60,000/- to Amjad Ali, but neither the job for her sons was arranged nor money was returned to her.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.57615 of 2017 (2) dt.15-12-2017 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would appear from the F.I.R. itself that money was not paid to the petitioner, rather the same was paid to Amjad Ali @ Munna. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate-VI, Patna in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case No. 273 of 2017, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) manish/- U T
