The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Alauli P.S. Case No. 186 of 2019, registered under Section 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act.
The accusation is of torturing the informant by her husband and in-laws due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the mother-in-law of the informant and she has falsely been implicated in this case without specific overt act. Further submission is that petitioner is accused in one another case, i.e., Khagaria (Mahila) P.s. Case No. 24 of 2018, which
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62350 of 2019(2) dt.16-10-2019 2/2 has also been lodged by the informant in similar offence. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria, in connection with Alauli P.S. Case No. 186 of 2019, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
