2. In the present writ application, the petitioner has questioned selection of respondent no. 9 as Anganwari Sevika for Anganwari Centre No. 01405 of Ward No. 2 of Gram Panchayat Amouna.

3. It appears that the selection was made on

Patna High Court CWJC No.19901 of 2019(2) dt.13-11-2019 2/3 01.06.2019 in which petitioner also claims to have participated. The selection is made under the guidelines issued by the Welfare Department, Government of Bihar. Fresh guidelines have been issued in 2019, clause-11 of which deals with redressal of grievances of the candidates against the decision of Aam Sabha in respect of selection for the said post. Under the said Clause, an aggrieved person may approach the Child Development Project Officer having jurisdiction over the area, within one month from the date when Aam Sabha was held leading to selection of an Anganwari Sevika.

4. The petitioner appears to have approached the Divisional Commissioner, Purnea who was certainly not the competent authority under the guidelines issued by the departmental to consider the nature of grievance.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this application is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the Child Development Project Officer of the concerned block raising her grievance, as has been raised in the present writ application. If the petitioner makes an application before Child Development Project Officer within one month from today, it is directed that without raising any objection on the ground of delay in making the application, the
