Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 7.9.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No.41317 of 2017, with an observation that he may renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge in this case. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is in custody for about five months. Heard learned A.P.P. also.
Having heard both sides. In this case a report was called for from the learned trial court and from perusal of the same it appears that the charge has been framed and the case is fixed for evidence. In such view of the matter, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage, however as the charge has been
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.57792 of 2017 (4) dt.20-12-2017 2/2 framed, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of six months.. With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
