The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Kako P. S. Case No. 168 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 504, 336, 337, 332, 333, 186, 353, 427, 435 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the allegations that the petitioner and others had led a mob which assaulted the informant Block Development Officer and the police officer, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected. However, in case the petitioner surrenders and seeks

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58381 of 2017 (2) dt.12-12-2017 2/2 bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
