====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 04-11-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Karja P.S. Case No. 173 of 2019 registered for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 307, 498(A), 316/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The case of the prosecution in short that the informant got married his daughter Shahnaz with Md. Shahnawaz on 09.07.2017 according to Muslim rites and rituals and in the marriage he gave gifts and cash as per his capacity. He has further stated that after marriage, his daughter live happily and thereafter she was assaulted and tortured and demanded Rs. One

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62613 of 2019(2) dt.04-11-2019 2/2 lac as dowry and lastly they ousted her from the house due to non-fulfillment of dowry demand.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the informant's daughter was examined by the doctory who did not find any external or internal injury on the person of informant's daughter which appears from paragraph-22 of the case diary. The petitioner is in jail custody since 04.07.2019. Petitioner is the father-in-law of the informant's daughter. In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of S.D.J.M., West at Muzaffarpur in connection with Karja P.S. Case No. 173 of 2019.
