JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 24-09-2024 Though the present writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 16.08.2024, passed by the District Magistrate, Buxar in Case No. 10 of 2022, whereby and whereunder the prayer of the petitioner for restoration of his arms license, has been rejected, however, at the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the same, by filing appropriate appeal under Section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case the petitioner files appropriate appeal within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered and disposed off by the respondentauthority, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.
