JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 09-12-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

It is alleged that from the truck of the petitioner, 134 bags of wheat and 259 bags of rice were recovered. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the owner of the vehicle in question when the driver was carrying the consignment and only on suspicion that the grains were being carried from some PDS dealer, the accusation has been levelled. This fact is not in dispute that the petitioner was not in the truck when the seizure was made. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or
