2. The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 21.03.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 30763 of 2021 by which the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail.
3. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he was suffering from Corona during Covid-19 pandemic and that is why, he could not surrender within the stipulated time. It is further prayed on behalf of the counsel for the petitioner that further time may be extended so that the petitioner could surrender in the court below.
4. Considering the submissions made on behalf of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.73459 of 2024(2) dt.25-10-2024 2/2 learned counsel for the petitioner and the grounds mentioned in the modification application, the order dated 21.03.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 30763 of 2021 is modified to the extent that the period of surrender of the petitioner in the court below is extended for a further period of four weeks from today.
5. The rest of the conditions shall remain the same as mentioned in the order dated 21.03.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 30763 of 2021, except one fresh additional condition that the petitioner shall remain present physically before the court below on each and every date till disposal of the case, otherwise his bail bond shall be cancelled.
6. Accordingly, this modification application stands disposed of.
