2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Rajaoli P.S. Case No. 257 of 2024 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 342, 323, 307 and 384 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, the allegation against the petitioner along with others is of assaulting the informant due to which he sustained injury.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner rather the specific

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69305 of 2024(2) dt.23-10-2024 2/2 allegation of assault is against co-accused Surajbhan. He further submitted that the informant sustained simple injury. It is next submitted that the petitioner has one criminal antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest/surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-I, Nawada in connection with Rajaoli P.S. Case No. 257 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
