2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Waini P.S. Case No. 40 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 109(1), 308(1-7), 324(4)(5), 352, 351(1) and 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Sections 3 and 4 of the Explosive Substance Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, F.I.R. has been lodged against three named accused persons, against whom there is an allegation of demanding extortion of Rs.4,00,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs). On non-payment, the allegation is that four bombs were thrown at the wall of the informant's house, causing fear among the entire family.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, gravity of the offence and the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.
