On getting confidential information raid was conducted at the house of Sunil Mandal who was personally searched and during course thereof, a loaded pistol, a cartridge were recovered. Subsequently thereof, another country made firearm was recovered from his house. So far, petitioner is concerned, from his house a country made musket has been seized but without any cartridge.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that apart from absence of criminal antecedents, the house is jointly occupied by other family members who have not been made accused. Furthermore, petitioner happens to be under custody since 28.06.2017.
Learned APP opposed the prayer for bail.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.59386 of 2017 (2) dt.12-12-2017 Accordingly, Mahesh Rishideo is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of ACJM-IX, Bhagalpur in Industrial Area PS Case No. 66/2017.
