This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Rauta P.S.case No.37 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner happens to be husband. Case is of dowry death.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that she was suffering from the mental illness and she was under treatment and while the petitioner was not in the house, she committed suicide by hanging herself. Petitioner is in custody since 9.4.2019.

Heard learned A.P.P. who has opposed the prayerr for bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59528 of 2019(5) dt.03-03-2020 2/2 Having heard both sides and considering the above, at this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner , however, once the charge is framed, petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.

Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
