Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Bettiah Town P.S. Case No. 73 of 2022 registered for the offences under Sections 498-A, 313, 323, 341, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the instant case. Further submission is that the petitioner works in a private firm outside the State of Bihar and undertakes to pay Rs.5500/- for the maintenance of his wife as per para 2 of the supplementary affidavit. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

No.66329 of 2022(4) dt.17-02-2023 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, the petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing personal bond with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Bettiah Town P.S. Case No. 73 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
