2. The petitioner has prayed for following reliefs: "(i). For issuance of direction to the respondent authorities more particularly the authorities to the Purnea University, Purnea to immediately appoint the petitioner on appropriate post on compassionate ground as per the decision/recommendation of the Compassionate Appointment Committee, Purnea University, Purnea Dated 28.01.2023, whereby recommendation for appointment of petitioner was made but till date appointment Letter has not

(ii). Any other relief or reliefs/ interim relif as your lordship may deem fit and proper.

3. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submits that the Compassionate Appointment Committee, Purnea University, Purnea, has found the petitioner along with other candidates eligible for appointment on compassionate ground, but till date appointment letter has not been issued. He further submits that except petitioner other candidates have already been appointed on compassionate ground vide letter No. R/24080 dated 19.01.2024.

4. Considering the submission of learned Senior counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the University to consider the case of the petitioner and pass a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law preferably within a period six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

5. In view of the above observation, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
