The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Purnia P.S. Case No. 1995 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 26.07.2023 and there is recovery of 168 litres of illicit liquor from his possession. Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

Considering the period of custody and recovery of liquor from his possession, this application for regular bail is allowed.
