The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bousi P.S. Case No.37 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 354(B), 379 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is said to have assaulted the informant by means of farsa causing injury on her head. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioner has got one criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail petition. It is alleged that the petitioner assaulted the informant by means of farsa, but the injury sustained by the informant is simple in nature.

No.63826 of 2022(6) dt.14-02-2023 2/2 The learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner by submitting that there is direct allegation of assault against the petitioner. Considering the fact that the injury sustained by the informant is simple in nature, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Araria in connection with Bousi P.S.
