It is the petitioner's grievance that though Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, has decided to grant permanent affiliation in favour of Islamia Degree College, Shahpur, Kanti, Muzaffarpur, and has written to the Education Department, Government of Bihar, for grant of approval as contemplated under Section 21(2)(d) of the Act, the State Government has not taken any decision.

Mr. Arun Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf

Patna High Court CWJC No.19603 of 2018(3) dt.31-10-2018 2/2 of the petitioner has referred to letter No.B/770 dated 11.06.2016 by which the University has sought approval of affiliation from the Education Department, Government of Bihar.

In view of the nature of relief, which the petitioner is seeking, this application is disposed of with a direction to the Director, Higher Education, Government of Bihar, to ensure that decision on grant of approval of affiliation is taken within the stipulated period as indicated in the judgment and order 26.04.2018 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 4660 of 2017 (Dr. Ram Pramod Thakur and Anr. vs. The State of Bihar & Ors.) and another analogous matter, if the same is yet pending in the Department.

This application is accordingly disposed of.
