====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 10-05-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. However, nobody appears on behalf of the Union of India. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

Vide order dated 07.12.2022, a report was called for, regarding the stage of trial. In compliance thereof, a report sent by learned 1st Additional District & Sessions Judge, Muzaffarpur dated 17.12.2022 is kept at flag 'R', whereby it is submitted that out of five witnesses, three witnesses have been examined and minimum two months period is likely to be concluded the trial of this case.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and that in the report, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner named above. The prayer for bail is hereby rejected.

Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed. However, the trial court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible.
