2. Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

3. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Puraini P.S. Case No. 33 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 8/20 (b)(ii)(c) of the NDPS Act.

4. As per the prosecution case 194.350 Kg of Ganja was recovered from an ambulance.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and she is an old widow lady aged about 60 years who has no knowledge about the Ganja which has been recovered from the ambulance.

6. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67090 of 2023(2) dt.17-10-2023 2/2 that the recovered Ganja belongs to one Arun Mandal and some other persons have also been named in the FIR.

7. Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and she is in custody since 14.02.2023.

8. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

9. Considering the fact that the petitioner is an old lady and there is no recovery from her and also considering her period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

10. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Madhepura in connection with Puraini P.S. Case No. 33 of 2023.

11. The petitioner will mark her attendance at Puraini Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
