The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Dhoraiya P.S. Case No. 173 of 2017 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 15 liters of foreign liquor from a car in which the petitioner is said to be sitting.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is neither the owner nor the driver of the said car and he was merely a passenger. However, he has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and he is in custody since 30.08.2017. Considering the nature of accusation, the period of
