The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jhanjharpur P.S. Case No. 56 of 2019 (G.R. No. 510 of 2019), registered for offence punishable under Sections 272, 273 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further submission is that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he has no concern with the illicit liquor. The petitioner is in custody since 16.08.2019.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63066 of 2019(2) dt.24-10-2019 2/2 and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the above-named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge (Excise Act), Madhubani in connection with Jhanjharpur P.S. Case No. 56 of 2019 (G.R. No. 510 of 2019).
