2. The petitioner is in custody since 19.05.2023 in connection with Patliputra P.S. Case No. 398 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is involved in chain snatching and he is accused in five more cases of similar nature.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. He next submits that the petitioner has not been put on T.I. Parade.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71385 of 2023(2) dt.07-11-2023 2/2 behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. He submits that the petitioner has five more cases of similar nature.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. It is, accordingly, dismissed.

7. The trial of all the cases registered against the petitioner are directed to be expedited.

8. Let a copy of the order be communicated to the District Judge, Patna as well as to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna through FAX/e-mail forthwith for compliance of the order.
